Life is crazy. Between keeping up with being a parent, work schedules, and everything in between, I’m all about products that save time, cut down on daily friction, and actually hold up to continuous use.

Yes, I love testing out new finds for the home, but there are always daily essentials on Amazon that I return to again and again when I run out or it needs to be replaced. I love these items because they make running a house a little smoother. 

Here are the 9 Amazon everday essentials I repurchase because they are worth every penny.  

1. Plantar Fasciitis & Arch Support Foot Inserts

Why It’s a Great Purchase: As a lady in my forties, my feet hurt! When I use these plantar fasciitis and arch supports in my shoes, I’m able to get to my step goals with much less fatigue. 

Whether you’re working on your feet all day or running errands, having arch support makes a huge difference in stamina . Sliding these into sneakers provides immediate structure and pressure distribution. I’ve had the orthopedics from the podiatrist, but I prefer these! 

Replacing them every few months keeps my posture aligned, reduces lower-body strain, and stops foot fatigue before it starts.

Why It’s a Great Purchase: With the breast cancer diagnosis, I did try to clean up my hygiene products where I could. It took me a long time to find an aluminum-free deodorant that worked for me all day.

Why It’s a Great Purchase: If you love the Amazon firestick because it’s easy to use, but don’t love how the back gets loose over time, I have the perfect product.

These silicone covers are an inexpensive lifesaver. They keep the back securly on the remote. A bonus is that the silicone keeps the remote from constantly sliding between couch cushions and falling off tables. Why It’s a Great Purchase: Mineral buildup, hard water, detergent residue, and dampness lead to gross odors and lower efficiency over time.

I also love how the airtight, leak-proof snap-on lids make them ideal for meal prep, storing dinner leftovers, or packing lunches without worrying about spills in my bag. Because they work so well, they’re my favorite of all my glass containers to use for work.

Why It’s a Great Purchase: Between weekly Amazon deliveries and sturdy plastic packaging, having a sharp utility knife is one of the most useful tools to keep in a kitchen or entryway drawer. 

It glides through heavy cardboard with ease and saves my kitchen scissors from getting dulled, sticky, or ruined. Plus, being a 4 pack at this price makes each one cost about a dollar each.

9. Magnetic Door Stoppers

Cost Window: $8 – $12 (for multi-size bumper packs)

Why It’s a Great Purchase: I’m not a fan of spackling, and, when I didn’t add a door stopper to my door, I had to spackle a small spot when the door handle broke through the wall. 

So frustrating.

Then, I found these magnetic door stoppers. They not only protected my wall, but the magnetic catch also keeps the doors open. That means that when the a.c. kicks on, the door doesn’t slam shut!

What a bonus! 

But that’s not the only bonus. They come with two installment options: screws and a strong double sided tape. Not wanting to use tools, I applied mine with the tape. Some of my doors have had the door stopper on them for a couple of years and are still going strong!
