There’s nothing better than that burst of cheese from the tortellini with the crunch of the fresh vegetables. That tart Caesar vinaigrette brings it together to make the perfect bbq side dish.

Easy Pasta Salad with Few Ingredients
With only five ingredients, you are saving time while creating huge flavor. The best part is that three of these five ingredients are fresh vegetables! There’s nothing better than that. These vegetables add flavor and, like I said above, crunch.
The quick cook tortellini are soft and flavorful. Once the water boils, you only need a few minutes to fully cook your tortellini. Then, drain them and rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking.
We love the Ken’s Caesar dressing for this recipe. It absorbs into the pasta and is strong enough to bring all of the other ingredients together.

Easy Pasta Salad for BBQ
Tired of mayonnaise based salads? Both my husband and children are not fans of mayo, so I love having pasta salads that don’t use it. This salad is one of the two main pasta salads served at every bbq we host or go to.

Cheese Tortellini Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
20 ounces of Cheese Tortellini
2 small heads of broccoli, florets chopped off
1 pint grape tomatoes, cut in half
½ red onion diced
¾ cup Ken’s Steak House Lite Caesar Dressing

Directions:
Start boiling your salted water
While water is boiling, chop your rinsed broccoli, tomatoes, and red onion.
Cook your tortellini depending on the directions
When they are finished, rinse them in cold water to stop the cooking
Add tortellini and vegetables into a bowl and toss with dressing
Chill in refrigerator for an hour or more
Before serving, toss the salad with more dressing if it looks dry
